Artist
George Bardadim is an internationally recognized tattoo artist known for his pioneering techniques and dedication to traditional Japanese tattooing (Irezumi). Beginning his career in Russia at just 17, George crafted his first tattoo machine in 1988 using parts from a Soviet spring powered shaver and guitar string - an early sign of his ingenuity.
In 1995, he co-developed custom rotary machines and by 1999 began guesting at top studios across Europe and NYC. His unique approach to tattooing, combined with deep respect for Japanese aesthetics, earned him global acclaim and features in leading tattoo publications.
George is a founding member and Art Council contributor of the Russian Association of Professional Tattoo Artists, actively involved in exhibitions, book publishing, and industry education. His flash design work, begun in the late ’90s, has been published in digital formats, further sharing his vision.
Since 2018, George and his wife Yana have run their own private studio in Brooklyn, NY, creating highly customized tattoos and mentoring the next generation of artists.
